Their bodies are a similar shape, Faces look almost the same, They talk in near identical ways...but they're different you see. It seems as though they're shifting their form, So different from dusk than at at dawn, So confident and so damned assured...but they're very nice to me. Crash landed on a planet made of gold, Been stranded with no chance of getting home. I'm expanding from a homosapien, I've been branded And becoming the alien The only party I want to be, Is the search party they sent out for me. They're calling this the land of the free...but you're not allowed to leave. Crash landing on a planet made of gold, Been stranded with not chance of getting home. I'm expanding from a homosapien, been branded and becoming. So leave me in a jar upon a shelf, Don't feed me, I'm afraid it hurts my health. I'm feeling like some strange experiment, skin peeling And becoming the alien.

I watch for weather forecasts, not for mine but for your town. And though I know it won't last, I feel close to you for now. I sit and look for news reports that mention where you are. And though it offers some support confirms we're far apart. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,000 miles... I want to be for five, six seconds settled in my mind... And the existence of distance isn't something we control. Despite persistent insistence there's no ladder down his hole. I sit and flick through photographs of you and all your friends, But all this is does is trigger pointless envy in the end. I watch as metal elephants slide slowly through the sky, And though they do with ease I am too low to get that high. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,000 miles... I want to be for five, six seconds settled in my mind... And the existence of distance is the bluebirds only choice. Despite persistent resistance, I just cannot fill the void. When you sleep I'm up and when you're up I cannot sleep. Instead of counting sheep at night, I'm counting down the weeks. When I down, you're up and when I'm up you lie in bed. Instead of reading books at night I'm reading maps instead. And though it's tough to show your love from 6,000 miles away It makes you feel alive and real to be sharing everyday.

Sirens 05:55
Sirens...save me from the storm. Save me from the whir that comes from the back of an ambulance. Father...you defied the odds. But you had me talking, talking to god. One more...road traffic accident. That's one more that's closer, closer to home. THIS ISN'T A TEST. FIND YOUR NEAREST EXIT. Darling...stay upon the shore. Stay with me in peace on this cotton island. Give me...toads that I can lick. I have something weird right here, will you take look at it? This man just paid big bucks for you... So pray for his health, pray he pulls through...

My Friend 05:11
Man I have to tell you, I dreamt of you again last night I know it's our thing to be closed and uptight. But I keep on repeating that same old scene, Because it felt almost real, more than a dream. I wore red lipstick, and you wore a hat. But it was quite normal other than that. I drank red wine, which i held from the stem. It was just like the castle we used to frequent. And it made me believe, we will meet there again. I miss you my friend. You gave me two turtles. And told me you had things you had to say. I promised that I wouldn't get in your way. We spoke of Manchester, Christmas and football. You said things had changed but nothing at all. I drank red wine, which i held from the stem. It was just like the castle we used to frequent. And it made me believe, we will meet there again. I miss you my friend.

Pieces of Me 06:39
Closed eye pornography, The walking moron follows me From England's green Clown nose vasectomy And alien photography, I'm on my knees And I tried to give everything I said that I would Because I tried to live everything I thought that I should. Hollywood has hemorrhoids From all the horny humanoids The skeletons I shut away I proudly now put on display But what's my name? For I tried to give everything I said that I would, I tried to live everything I thought that I should live. Left in the leaves there are pieces of me, And in changing my scene is my scene changing me forever? Can't afford to see myself, The poster boy for failing health And recycled ideas. Night of the living narcissist Who fuck themselves and pump there fists. But I cannot resist. For I tried to give everything I said that I would, I tried to live everything I thought that I should live. Left in the leaves there are pieces of me, And in changing my scene is my scene changing me? Now my hero is dead and I have nothing left To give to you my lord. And the bright blue church I live beside Offers one hour class in compromise. My stained glass legacy is slowly fading into fantasy. Bisch Bosch, parking lot, lobotomy. Now my hero is dead and I've got nothing left. To give To you To give to you my lord.
